Fierce accepts students in primary 7 all the way through to the end of S6 in high school.

We always aim to keep our fees as competitive as possible and have not increased them overall for the 2026/27 academic year.

Our annual fee structure for the 2026/27 academic year is:

  • Registration and administration fee: £150 per student per year, to be paid immediately to accept your place

Plus:

  • Term 1: £900 per student
  • Term 2: £900 per student
  • Term 3: £575 per student

Our total annual fee of £2,525 per student equates to £12.02 per hour for 210 session hours across 30 weeks of the year.

We have monthly and termly payment options available.

Yes. Everyone must audition to join Fierce. And this is an annual requirement, as we believe that every audition is a learning opportunity.

Attending Fierce

At the start of the new academic year in September (or when your child joins the school), students are assessed and grouped according to their dance ability. They are then placed into one of three classes. These groups are primarily based on dance level, while also taking age into consideration and ensuring a balanced number of students in each class.

Our tutors continually monitor students’ progress throughout the year. If we feel a student would benefit from moving to a different class, adjustments can be made at any point to ensure they are in the most suitable group for their development.

No. We require full attendance for both sessions as the focus is on different musical theatre techniques during different sessions.

Yes. Here’s our recommended uniform and kit list for all classes: Fierce Uniform List

Fierce offers technique-based teaching. Our focus is on building skills and not final performances. We do encourage public performance, and our students are welcome to participate in any By the Collectives productions but also in wider youth theatre projects around the UK – our students do not belong to us alone and we welcome any performance opportunities they can get their hands on!

Fierce does have an annual end-of-year Graduation event that offers some performance opportunities.

Looking after our students

We care about our students, and signing out is part of our safeguarding procedures.

Yes – or we’ll worry about you! If you can’t attend a session, please email fierce@bythecollectives.global as soon as you can and we’ll make a note on our session register. If you don’t let us know in advance by email, then the student’s parent/guardian will receive a phone call or email at the start of the session to check everything is ok.

Please call Fierce on 0331 630 0762, and we’ll let your child know you’re running late. A member of the Fierce team will wait with them until you arrive.
